Mr. Garrett has been a business attorney in Orange County for many years. He was president of the Orange County Bar Association (1981) and has served on the U.C. Irvine Foundation Board of Trustees, Board of Governors of the Claremont McKenna College Keck Center for International Strategic Studies and the U.C.I. Dean's Council for the School of the Arts. He has been a member of the Orange County Performing Arts Center's Board of Directors since 1989 and currently serves on the board's Executive Committee. He is also currently a board member of the Center for Real Estate at the Paul Merage School of Business at U.C.I.
