Specializing in corporate and taxation law, Margaret Ng advises clients in a variety of business transactions, including corporate restructure, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. Her experience includes negotiating and drafting asset purchase, licensing, consulting, management and other commercial agreements.

With an advanced degree in taxation law, Ms. Ng also handles U.S. and California income tax for corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, as well as trusts and estates. Combining her background in corporate and taxation law, Ms. Ng is able to counsel clients comprehensively on the formation of business entities and the selection of the vehicle that best meets the client's needs while providing optimal tax planning at each stage of a business's development, such as structuring companies for tax efficient reorganizations or acquisitions. Ms. Ng also advises real estate developers and investors on California real property tax issues, dealer income tax and capital gains issues, and Sections 1031 and 1033 tax-free exchanges.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Ng worked in the international business arena and is conversant in Mandarin.
